Missionary Family

Portadown Baptist Church is a part of the Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland and, as such, we support and have an interest in those serving with the missionary arm of the Association. Baptist Missions ministers at home and abroad, and has a long history of evangelisation and planting churches in Ireland, France, Spain and Peru.

We regularly have speakers from Baptist Missions at our monthly Missionary Focus meetings, and one evening of our annual Missionary Convention is always dedicated to hearing from the society.

Steve & Rosie Bosley

About
Steve and Rosie serve as Facilities Manager and Facilities Administrator respectively with the Universities & Colleges Christian Fellowship (UCCF) and International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). Their eldest daughter, Kirsty, works with New Tribes Mission in the Nursery; while Lisa and her husband Daniel serve with Navigators. Gary, Claudia, Joel and David live and work in Germany, where Gary serves with Acts 29 in Europe. Gary’s role often involves conferences on Leadership and Church Planting as he seeks to assist healthy church plants across the continent. Andrew, Sharon, Ana and Daniel live in Atlanta, USA, where Andrew currently serves as the President of OM USA. In this busy role, he is often involved in travel nationwide and worldwide as he speaks at Conferences and meets with ministry leaders. Min & Jackie Hwangbo
(Ministering among the Ayoré People in Bolivia)

Min and Jackie Hwangbo have served the Lord in Bolivia (South America) for over 30 years. Together they have worked among the Ayoré people, sharing the Gospel and helping plant churches. Their sons, Caleb and Luke, grew up in Bolivia, where Luke still lives, while Caleb has gone on to higher education and employment in Los Angeles.
