GriefShare

All ages

GriefShare is a church-based support group ministry that helps you heal from the pain of grief. The GriefShare program is non-denominational and features Biblical concepts for healing of grief. Grieving can be a confusing time, when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare groups meet to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life with the help of God.

These meetings are for anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one and is seeking support in getting through this difficult time.  A warm welcome is extended to you to come along to all or any of these Seminars. If you’d like to know more about how GriefShare works, you can visit the GriefShare website or watch the brief video below.

Our series of GriefShare groups resumes on Tuesday 19th September 2023 at 7:30pm and covers topics such as: “Is This Normal?”, “The Challenge Of Grief”, “The Journey Of Grief”, “Grief And Your Relationships”, “Why?”, and much more…

The GriefShare support group meets in Portadown Baptist Church, Thomas Street at 7:30pm each Tuesday. Access to the ‘Link Room’ we use is via the Church Car Park (to the rear of our Church Halls on Tavanagh Avenue), where you can proceed to the top of the Car Park, and use the ramp on the right-hand side to access the door.

It is our prayer that God, by His Holy Spirit, will minister to you at this difficult time.

For more information please speak to Bill Wharry or Iris Smith, or contact us and we will put you in touch with someone who can help.
